Treat phone and video visits as just another type of appointment, and have patients schedule those visits. A simple way to proceed is to use a service like Doxy.me that offers a virtual waiting room. Instead of telling scheduled patients to come to your clinic in person, advise patients to access your virtual waiting room at their appointed time, and you’ll be able to see them!

We can help charge
At least in Ontario, virtual visits are not currently covered by OHIP and patients need to pay. Contact us to enable online payments for your appointment scheduling, and ensure patients pay upfront for their virtual appointment.
